The chain of friendship

Friendship is a chain made stronger by time and quality of it spent together.

The chain feeds off the happy memories and the times spent laughing and giggling.

Now lets not forget the times of comforting, hugs and wise words.

This is what makes the chain strong, timeless and valuable.

And as the years go by, the friends grow old side by side, they learn each others rights and wrongs.

Then finally their times come for them to part

But then they never truly will, because they have a chain so strong.

That weird and wonderful chain called friendship

Author notes

Nice affirmative statements from the off you have here. Friendship is such a precious thing that needs treasuring and maintaining. Liked the metaphor. Cheers and thanks for sharing.

I loved this friendship poem and yes how it does grow and deepend over the years if nurtured and worked at. I don't see though how it fits into 'first' but I did enjoy it. Good luck.

It's good. The second-to-last line might have been better split into two lines, cos it's so long, but apart from that it was good
