And The Stars Fell On

With collective cries we dressed the sun
For we all burned til the task was done
And for once there fell the cup of rage
Having once fallen, turned the page
Revealing to all our supposed disgraces
Which we all wore on upturned faces
The night came slowly, with supple flow
We picked up our crosses, and turned to go
The oracle whispered it was all to end
And the stars fell on, my friend
And the stars fell on.

Author notes

I'd LOVE any interpretations on this one. I challenged myself to write a poem that didn't make any sense whatsoever - and ended up with this. I really like it. I think it's a poem from my subconscious, so of course it doesn't make any sense.

Please tell me what you think

Lulz...I couldn't make any sense and I'm a bullshitter like no other! Still...it flows well and it's interesting. Then again, the ones that don't mean anything usually are. LULZ...nicely don't my dear. Love the title, too.
