Brilliance flashed as lightning
through brain of prodigy,
burns it illumined effigy,
mind envision mask
on ancient mystery
forever shredded,
hastily scribbling
solution's formula
upon a paper.
Map to eyes,
dim and dark,
cursed with blindness,
to be offered a cure
so simple and profound,
vision healed
just by following directions
of his special words.
Marching parade
provided for healer,
while bureaucrats
pass out miracle
unto those who can't see,
celebration hangover
produces lack of watchers
to notice nothing changed
for the inflicted
because deliverance
was penned in Latin letters
instead of Braille.
