I have been asked
why do you do it
and I always respond
you wouldn't get it
well now I explain
in a longwinded poem
the reasons behind
my desicion so horrid
I do it to feel better
sometimes in this place
everything feels so bad
I do it to feel my heart race
sometimes I cant feel
and I do it to see
if I am still alive
or just happen to "be"
Those around me have seen
but act like they dont know
out of sight out of mind
is the motto they follow
can I help it if I like it
sometimes I do it just to see
I get a little paranoid
but thats another story
I dont have one reason
for each and every time
but this should clear up
the reasonings behind
it isn't suicidal
it's just a release
not something to fear
but something to ease
we all feel some pain
we dont keep it shut
you do something else
and I choose to cut

oh wow this was great! i know exactly how u feel. and many people just dont understand why people cut. you can tell them a million times why and they will never really understand. i used to cut but havent for a while. but every day it is so hard to keep away for the blades and stuff like that. and yes other people may read or something to ease the pain but some chose to cut. it isnt the healthiest thing to do but it is done. alot of people do it. and it does ease the pain. i am like you. i dont really have an exact reason why i choose to cut, and i dont know why eachtime. but anyways this was a great write.

thank you ^_^ sorry the response is so... late XD I didn't get any notice that I had a response. It might not be the healthiest thing but I would rather see someone cut than commit suicide by a long shot. Thanks for the comment
