I can hear the children laughing
And still I feel
That I conceal
As I wish just to not be here
Yet I still find nowhere to go
I think it's only your smile, though
So I feel warm
Thus I am torn
I think that I should be sincere
A show and tell - a heart to heart
I guess that it's at least a start
Stay by your side
I will not hide
With you I have nothing to fear
So summer comes and summer goes
And I swim through it with all those
Good friends of mine
They're so divine
With them I'll never disappear
Author notes
Well, here's my piece about summer. I was especially inspired by all my friends, and decided to dedicate it to them. I won't name you, but you know who you are, my fellow dramatics. Though I admit, I also wrote a bit about someone who I really care about in particular. Thank you for being so kind to me. I love you - all of you.

Summer just has that joyous thing about it for me its Christmas, living outside in the garden, cooking smells the fridge full of potato salad, coleslaw, cheesecake the steaks sizzling with the sausages on the Bar B Que and those warm summers nights in the pool all enjoyed with good friends, summer is a party that we can all enjoy with stolen looks and whispers of love in the dunes. I love Summer

This is like a little self love letter lol but what is nice about it too is that you're giving the chance to show others that side of you at the same time
