Round Four
Wow, you guys really know your stuff! We have judged some really exceptional personification and extended metaphor. We had beautifully moving pieces, strangely endearing ones, and outright hilarious ones in this round. It just goes to show what stellar poets you are be able to work with particular poetic devices AND with the added difficulty of the random objects. Well done, poets!
Unfortunately, one of you must leave us. And you may do so with the full recognition of this judging panel’s utmost respect for your talent and message!
You will notice that Ryan was not able to post comments or scores for this round. So Pamela A Lamppa (PL) agreed to substitute for him last minute. You’re a gem, Pamela!
CarolDesjarlais (CD) was also gracious to fill in for Bunny this round. Thank you Carol! And for your reference below, our other regular judges are Cannonsfire (Ca), and Ten (Te). Remember that your highest and lowest scores will be dropped and the others will be totaled for your final score.
And now what you’ve been waiting for ……
Completely safe, with an incredible total of 192/200, a full seven points over second place, is…

Congratulations to Peteskid, Mallig, Everwind and Cugglepuff as they continue with this contest. I am sorry that the contest organizer and two of the of the original judges are no longer participating. It does change the essence of this challenge. I feel one of the substitute judges has been unnecessarily harsh with her grading and as a consequence I am taking an indefinite hiatus from this site. When kindness is gone then so am I. Peace, Liz
