Preserving the Past

I snuggled with
memory’s snapshots
when life was filled
with simplicity
and sincere happiness.

Under the sizzling sunshine,
we sat in silent appreciation,
until soft words touched
our lips, sparking a love
that has yet to be forgotten.

I recalled these snippets
of my past with fondness
of the special moments
that give me hope
for the future.

I really like the title of this, and how it fits with the poem. This is beautifully done, the wordbank really complements the piece, blending with the poem rather than standing out on its own.
    Well penned.

It flows as if you weren't forced to use those words, I wouldn't be able to tell without the authors notes, well done!

I like it!!! What a great word bank - and you really made a great poem out of it!

It felt so warm, and snuggly, and summer-y. All four of the poems I've read tonight have made a smile blossom on my face, and now it reaches ear to ear.

I really love this new side of you!!!

(Maybe you could teach me a thing or two!)

Great job and good luck (I'm sure you'll win!)
