At night when stars come out,
We float on air.
And when the moon is full,
All sins laid bare.
We start a movement
Not unlike a dance.
And in that moment
We give in to chance.
Tick-tock, unlock the door
And let me in.
Minute by minute
And our dance begins.
Take off your inhibitions
And fall into space.
We'll bring the walls down
All around this place.
Hour by hour and
Day by day -
Things seem to be turning to
Shades of grey.

I love the line, "take of your inhibitions" I enjoyed the whole poem but that line can mean so many things. I also love the thought of a "dance" taking place. Very thoughful! Thanks for sharing.

I really liked it. The content was very good, very sweet. But the only thing was I'm not sure how the format fit lyrics, it seemed more like a nice poem than a song. How would it be sung, and what would the chrous be?
