Sitting a ~stray~ is all she knows how to do
Every since the doctor gave her the news
That ~shattered~ her life and her already broken heart
She was left to feel ~separated~ from the other
Over one simple word that no one knew what it meant
Cancer she had cancer
So many ~questions~ filled her head
But no answers came to call
Her friends left her to face ~loneliness~ and death in the eyes
She began to lose ~interest~ in love,life,family, and friends
Some days as the chemo would drain her of all the strength
She had to muster, she would ~regret~ even being alive to go through it all
But yet fighting the odds she was ~determined~ not to let it get her down
She swallowed another round of drugs that made her so sick she couldn't walk
But yet holding her head high above the clouds
She was ready and strong willed to win this endless battle alone
