Searching for beginnings
we can drag to what ends?
Flighty touches
from nervous fingers
pummel our sanctuaries
silently cracking
the arrogance of time,
for it's undaunted refusal
to be had...

..a fragile interpretive passage..
insightful construction projected upon superimposed cracks -
People, who need be better, will often talk of breeding stock. For there are those who are so small that they desperately search for all possible means to put themselves up by putting others down. I have heard, once to often, "Oh, my ancestors came over on the Mayflower."
I love the last line and your admonishment. We should recognize early that the greater the arrogance the greater the fear, of not being enough. Time, of course, is not human.
I enjoyed this. As usual, you have found a way to point out those who would harm us, for their benefit are most often no more powerful than we allow them to be.
Love, Tom B.
