You've always been more than just a pen,
a light, an AP sister and a very, special friend.
Though now you are taking flight
beyond our poetic walls,
no place you go shall be alone,
in our hearts you will always be alive,
regardless of where time's winds
give your wings a reason to fly.
Cherished are the thoughts
held in our minds
of each time you dressed us with your verse,
gave that shimmering jewel in your soul
chance to shine into our eyes.
Blessed us in all the beauty you possess
shared by pen and passion,
precious glimpses into your world.
Upon our lives
have you left the footprints of your spirit,
they will never leave our thoughts,
So let us now not say farewell,
nor drink of parting's chalice,
instead to think of some new horizon
where we shall met again,
waiting for the sweet renewal with all you are,
thank you for gracing us
for a while
with all the joy you shared
