I hear you are leaving
It's time to say goodbye
But that I can not do
And i will tell you why
For goodbye is forever
And forever is too long
It will never arrive
Like the end of a song
Goodbye is so final
Yet life is but a term
To build a timid future
And sit upon a berm
To watch the rainbows forming
The sun to set and rise
To greet a new life's dawning
And it's own great surprise
Your comfort I have taken
Your friendship just as well
The spirit in you highlights
Of a life's mystic spell
I can never tell you
How your words meant so much
To give the comfort needed
In place of a human's touch
But now that you are leaving
This is what I now tell
Since goodbye is so forever
I will just say farewell

Seems I have touch
so many with my words
those I counted as friends
and those I did not know
I must rethink
and think again some more
to pull from here will
be final and not sure
I'll walk in the door
thank you my dear friend

Nor do I catie, but if that is her wish, then we must let her do as her soul speaks and desires. it is what we can do as friends and neighbors. to show how we care.
