warm breezes and falling leaves.
Springtime rains bring back heavenly tears,
a heart full of love still grieves.
This day brought you so much happiness,
your heart overflowed with joy.
Within mother's arms, warmth to caress,
the birth of a beautiful boy.
With a child from God, you were blessed,
given years to make memories.
When its time to go home, He knows best,
like changing seasons of a tree.
Seeing how much pain you have beared,
on this special day put the pain away.
Celebrate his life and all you two shared,
smile as he looks upon you this day.
Author notes
Dear Kelle Marie, I know how hard this day is for you . Going through the same
thing in May for my Brian. I know our sons are together and looking down upon us this day. We must always try and remember this is a temporary seperation. We will be with them and the Holy Father one day. We will rejoice again in our sons joy and the laughter we remember so well. God Bless You. Hugs. Love, Sandy

Bless you both
The promise is true as they are forever about you for as in the bible says all women who bares not the child shall be blessed within heaven with child .Believe honey and we shall see our loved ones are held within our hearts just as mine is as we together wait for our rejoining in heaven together forever this we shall see

You Are So Strong and Tender
Thank you so much Sandy and always I know you miss your son too. It is hard that first birthday without them here. But you are right there are a lot of happy memories, at least 24 of them. You are always so kind, loving and encouraging to me and I just want to thank you for all your support, strength and wisdom Sandy.
Thank you for sharing your gift to write poetry with me and entering the contest, wishing you well.
Much Love
Kelle Marie

This is so touching, so sad, I'm so sorry this person you loved so much is gone, it's never easy, I know that even if it hasn't happened to me. I hope you'll see him again some day.

Your life of grief knows the prompt. Your heartfelt drive and understanding guide this poem for the reader to grasp emotion as though it is their first hand knowledge. Tears alone float the loving heart as God's warmth reminds us celebrate a life called home beyond concern of this earth.

Such A Wonderful Comment
Hi Dan, Yes when I saw my friends contest I thought of losing my own son and knew I had to reach out and comfort her. So many helped me get through Brians birthday in May. It is wonderful how God brings us together on this wonderful poetry site. Many poems truely do help us with our grief. You take care. Hugs and Smiles.
Bless You,
Sandy
