The wind howls in the night
like a lone wolf howls to the moon.
Darkness wrapps itself around me
as it feels my sorrow.
The wind forces open doors
like a thief in the night.
Light cannot penetrate
as sit here in mourning.
The wind cries for me
as I slowly slip away
into the darkness
of death.

Beautiful imagery there, is kind of sounds a mix of winnie the pooh and blair witch...the howling winds, or withering heights

Odd since I've never really seen any of those. Still thanks for the comment!

Deep
Thought provoking and powerful. I enjoyed the last stanza the best "The wind cries for me as I slowly slip away into the darkness of death." So much emotion. Great write and thank you for sharing.
