Many of us have eyes that see
yet to His love we're blind,
surrounded in a darkened void
His grace we cannot find.
We stumble right along that path
searching for the one true track,
that's leads us right to heaven's door
with faith we seem to lack.
To find His way we need not eyes
to guide us to His light,
but trust in His assurances
that evil we can fight.
For so much more a blind man
has learnt that life always has hope
and placed his hands within God's love
so that through this life he'll cope.
His light is so much stronger
from the troubles of this life,
for faith becomes enduring
from having lived through so much strife.
