I feel it pulsing through my bones
clawing through my mind,
scratchings of pure menace
and I run but cannot hide.
This face of my own darkness
pushes incessantly for clarity,
around every corner the noose is tightened
as malevolence comes to life.
This throbbing will refuses to cease
and pulls this mind back into chaos,
those talons smashing through frailty's veil
as demented voices enchant.

That certainly is dark!! Think we all have a bit of that face trying to push through!
Creepy! And fantastic!
