Tell me a Story

Bury me inside the sludge you have as heart

I liked your soft, silked hands
Sliding over my head
Everything was fine
And even our beats were synchronized
With the symphonies of what love meant for people

Hold my hand while I can see you
But betray me behind my blind back
The stalker inside me can't dig any deeper in your betrayal

The tree was supposed to grow
But the branches are not spreading but concentrating
Inside my core
It bled

Honesty was underrated inside your ideals
I was unaware of who pleased you while my veins were throwing up

Less on my side, I hugged you still
While the clockwork mechanics exposed your intentions
Fling your deceptions, not helping the treason
Legends were told, I blinded myself to them
Believing in a single bond between your blood and my oil
But like flowers, I had to wither my fake perfume

It withers and withers
The countdown goes on

Happy birthday

Tell me if I wasn't right
I hugged a doll of free love
Filled with hateful cotton towards my kind

All I can see is Wow. The emotion you put into this poem is staggering. A beautiful, but very sad write. I especially liked how it wasn't a prewrite and you put the option down. All you needed to put was the number, but it's okay. Thank you for entering my contest.
  • powerful!

Well my friend, this poem is just dark and haunting. Isn't it amazing all the things we will do to ourselves just to believe. Be blind, deaf, and dumb... Play the fool and get nothing but misery in return. I sympathize with the victim of this poem very much...so rare the real thing is... Very well done lil' brother <--- Had to call you that just once
