I will take that sip now-
now all the black catted
sombre crowds have left

in the witty moments,
although momentary
elusive fingers
pattern words
upon my lips

dancing
laughing
the nervous twitch

this bar
with its Warhol inhabitants
calm

for the fifteen minutes
of erudite thought,
stranger to me;
a conclusion
of life being fictitious
and love, something holy
quick or slowly savored

a dim child,
numb woman
motionless

while your tongue
makes all the moves,
the right places
of unknown curves

deck of cards
makes magicians of us,
ragged hours

alone I sense
interpretation
waiting for the fool
to laugh

    Made it abstract and personal. You have made him the observer. The one who sees and takes it all in. The magic of the card lies in how we incorporate it into our philosophy and being. A great entry that I truly enjoyed. Thank you for entering. Phantasy is right, I just ate it up.
