Missing image
Upon Harmonic sorrows
love flows with paragon..
Souls scream out with
memories of sweet kisses under
Star filled skies...

Shadows surround Hearts
caged though tenderness
was given in every touch..
Like a flame to kindling
seduction caught fire,
and flowed like rivers
upon forests floor..

Piano's rhythm fade as the
hallow screech of strings bend,
upon broken hearts harmony...
Fingers flash as sorrows pour
out like a wounded Angel to the hand
that ripped off the wings of glory....

The hunger,like a beast
stalks through living blood,
walls of eternities scents build
upon candles flame..
As drifting melodies play out,
life seeps from alabaster lips,
with the taste of past sins...
Tormented life shows through
haunted eyes... Releasing
screams of victims pride
as they fall beneath euphony's spell..


Hearts so brittle and worn..
Dwelt in the shadows of life's unchanging song..
Grace flowed in sinners rhythm as soul
seeps from eyes unclear..
Flowed so smoothly across skin of
sweet alabaster, this haunting
vampiric melody....

    Outstanding lines these are. I can almost feel firsthand ,the emotions being played out in this piece, Greif , loss, utter dispair at times, with anger and regret hidding in the shadows. I love this piece. Best of luck to you poet ~Bret~

    First poem I ever read in this style! This is a great take on the pix prompt. Your words are fluid, romantic, well chosen, dramatic, visual...man..I feel like I just saw a Gothic Horror movie! Bravo for this. All the best in the contest!
