The Fireball rains down once more
Hot
Muggy days
Nice cup of ice lemonade
Sun beating down upon our souls
As no rain no water is in the watering hole
Burning
Waves of heat
Roar through cities after cities
Fatal deaths occur
Of children being left in cars as
They bake
Suffering like ants underneath a magnifying glass
Wildfires lighting up in California and anywhere, they so please
Heat exhaustion and sunburns
Dried up mud cakes served with fried worms
Electric bills skyrocketing of air conditioning usages
Sprinklers, slip N slides,
Refreshing dips in the pool
Cooling off from the heat
Double decked ice cream scoops on a small single cone
Little kids licking like crazy as it trickles over their fingers and over their hands
The term sticky fingers comes into context
The Beach boys’ music blaring through the heated air
Hot summer days
A child plays in a shaded pool
Relaxing on an inner tube trying to keep cool

wow this is actually really good! I particularly liked this set of words you penned
'Burning
Waves of heat
Roar through cities after cities'
It was very sensory! I could hea the heat roar and the waves of heat was almost oxymoronic becasue waves are linked to the cool sea but obviously not in this case. i loved it well done.
I wil be reading more from you.
Lots of Love
