One moment of transformation



I tried feeling my heart beat,
it didnt seem alive.
I turned to look at my mother
and saw tears in her eyes,
felt that pain had subsided,
didnt know what went wrong
my fingers felt lifeless
and ears heard no sound
but then there was a moment
of silence, of peace and relief
and in that very moment,
amongst the white light
I saw dear lord
he blessed my life with eternal love
and love is what i preach
for in that very moment
god transformed me.

    This is such a beautiful piece, how disappointed I was to see it wearing another trophy other than gold when the rules stated it could ONLY be gold. Sorry this won't go any further in this contest. best to you

    It only takes a second for your whole view of life to be changed, and these people are special. This is a great write that lets you ponder the depths of reality and what is real and what is not.
