Hatred

I hate how you think "I'm sorry" will fix everything,
how you can completely betray me without guilt,
how you can make me feel bad for you.

I hate how you crave attention,
how you make everything into a competition,
how you always have to be better than me.

I hate how you get so jealous,
how you think the world revolves around you,
how selfish you are.

I hate how you have no scruples,
how you can tell my secrets to whoever,
how you couldn't care less about my life.

I hate how I love you for your flaws.

    Oh WOW!

What an amazing poem! I loved the last line especially, it's really powerful! This is exactly how I feel about my boyfriend sometimes, he's all those things you described so perfectly. It flows beautifully, I love it!

    Not. Fair.
I love the repetition of "I hate how you...," and then the three-lines after it. I've felt like this before...

I hate how you write so wicked amazingly.

I love the last line; it pulled it together like amazingness in a bottle. Best of luck in the contest.
