My One True Friend

T hrough everything I could always go to ONE PERSON,
O pen arms, She would always hug me and remind of her love,
G iving, strong, I have never known a person like my Mom...
I  never will for she was and will be my one true friend.
E ven though the sun rises without her, She will ALWAYS be with me.

I miss and love you Mom, THATS forever

My mom passed from cervical cancer July 3rd this year. Writing is one of the most powerful ways for me to deal with it. Without poetry, I would be in a loony bin. I miss her more than anyone will ever know. Her name was TOGIE, creek for "Rare Flower"

    What can I say, but very intense and emotional write. Keep going with your feelings. After all, poetry comes from the heart. Your Mom is always alive in your memories.

    Miss Sara Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear about Togie. I know it happened a short while ago, I just haven't gotten the chance to get in touch with you. You are an amazing person for being so strong and sticking by your mom's side through the whole thing.

    Touching

    This is a very loving tribute to her. I am so sorry for you loss and I know that she misses you as much as you miss her. Just remember that one day you will be with her again. Until then, just know that she is watching you and looking over you and guiding you. She wouldnt want you to be sad, but to celebrate her life and live with love. I hope that you heal well and be well. Take care my sis.
