Whenever i cried,
whenever i felt down,
Wawa was there to help comfort me,
and to make a smile out of my frown.
He would bounce around my bed,
as i sat there and cried,
trying to cheer me up,
and waited for my tears to be dried.
One painful day,
another pet was taken away.
i tried to stay strong,
but i could not, to my dismay.
I eventually broke down,
and cried harder than ever,
but Wawa was there to comfort me,
and right then and there, i knew i would love him forever.
I picked him up and looked at him,
he seemed so understanding,
he actually put his arms over my shoulder,
and gave me a hug, which was outstanding.
Wawa will always be with me,
even after he is gone,
he did so much for me,
and i know the memories will last long.

Another contest for a pet ;] My dog Wawa, or his nickname Willie, has been in my life for seven long years. Somehow he was the one to always comfort me when i cried. Whenever a single tear would fall or a sob was hear, i would hear Willie's feet running down the hall ! lol I can say, i think, that me and him have a pretty strong bond xD
and my dog is black and white, so i wanted the background to be the same lol
and i know the contest said 'when you're sick', but i kind of took this as- you're sick with like, sorrow or something... i know, sounds weird but, that's just another way i tried to look at it :/

I have seen many times how a pet senses our heartache and sorrow and try their best to ease our pain. They are a true blessing to us.

Oh how I know the love of a pet
I have lost many pets through old age and nursing one now like a princess until the very end . She is my baby and my love and it will be moist painful the day she passes indeed -
I absolutely love the name "Wawa". So cute! They really do sense it when we are sad, and try to comfort us. That is really something that he actually hugged you. How very sweet. I loved reading this. Thank you for sharing, and congrats on the trophy!

Your loving pet is so much like my Banjoe my bobtail cat he was a lover when we found him or I must say he found us and he was a stray and came up to my husband and lay his little forehead on tp of his shoe .He was ours from that moment on
