Falling leaves sway
and twirl in Autumns breeze.
The chill of winters
arrival coates the air.
Lovers sit in the park
relishing the seasons beauty,
enchanted by multicolored
tapestries of natures art.
Earth tones of gold,
brown and amber intermingle
in ecstasy.
As couples nestle for warmth
in arms of affection.
The scent of passion effervesce
the atmosphere,
creating an ambience of renewed
love and romance.
Captured in a majestic afterglow
of beguiling delight,
as Fall reminisces in splendor.

thank you Darrell. Whoever said that springtime is for lovers. You sure made the mind wander to a park bench somewhere [anywhere] in the world where we are fortunate enough to experience the beauty of autumn in all of its splendor
