when heartache comes
go to the forest
notice the order
of the world
all returns to itself
the rains on the leaves
the waters undammed
the pavement reclaimed by Nature
there are no clocks
no books
no walls
no church to imprison God
like a wounded animal
look as the new sprouts
push up through the mud
as the blue jay shakes water sparkles
from its wings
this is no time for depression
for loneliness
for grief
no time to worry about lifetimes
passed or yet to come
what was or will be
here is the temple, the cathedral, the alter
where Love is sovereign
where ecstasy pours into itself
and the wings of the soul
have no body or mind
just a boundless sense
of belonging
of comfort
of peace

Excellent
Aye, 'tis quite true, indeed. You have painted a marvelous word picture, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for sharing with us. -
to step outside ourselves,
nature is a part of us,
peaceful and harmonious,
this is God's intentions.
always pure and lovely
God bless my friend...

I couldn't say it better than Carol (born4freedom) below did. It's hard to write original and engaging nature poetry, but you did so in spades here. Really excellent.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!
This indeed is the perfect kind of love, the kind that is right before our eyes every night and day.

Beguiling!
A wonderous painting of Gods natural glory
on a canvas of inspiration and peace.
The images you created with your words
were sensational. I enjoyed every line.
You did a marvelous job. Bravo!
