My Own Enemy

Blaming those around me

for holding me back,

not letting me become

who I want and need to be.

Then waking up and realizing

it is not them, it is me

telling myself I cannot do it,

I will not succeed.

I am my own worst enemy.

But now I know I am the creator of my own destiny.
