when you came you sequestered my heart.
You hugged me when I was hurting,
when I thought I'd be consumed by the dark.
The dark that held me captive
that stopped my soul feeling love.
You where sent to guide me
by the gentle hand of God.
To embrace me, keep me safe,
kiss away my tears.
To fill my world with love,
the kind I didn't know exists.
To whisper words so tender,
to help me through my day.
My darling thank you for our beautiful friendship
know you are always only a lovebeat away.

Anyone who reads this would feel as your speaking directly to them--their soul. It has a way of grabbing a hold of the reader, like a Mother protecting a child. I believe regardless of age, everyone feels the need for a hug, compassion and protection from the 'dark'-ness of the world.

Thank you so much ears for your wonderful comment...I am at a loss for words and deeply touched. No matter what I have gone through in my life and there have been some very traumatic events. I have always tried to gain something possitive from them, sometime it has not been easy and I have felt like I was sinking..but I believe things happen for a reason and without them I wouldn't be the person I am today or have met and felt the love and understanding from the friend that I have...I have been truly blessed.
