Facing Your [Deathly] Fears

A lonely soul from the beginning,
Just waiting for her death,
Hoping for that single moment,
At which she would loose her breath.

Sitting in a corner of darkness,
Thinking what went wrong,
Why was she stuck in this world?
She had waited for too long.

At the start she feared death,
Just thinking of the pain,
But she’d had enough of endless tears,
She’d almost gone insane.

She was only thirteen years old,
But life; she could not bare,
She thought of what people would say,
She realised no one cared.

She discovered all types of objects,
The ones that hurt the most,
She also gathered knives and pills,
Her suicide nearing close.

Her body was full of stories,
Each scar symbolising her broken heart,
Each cut and slice was nothing,
Compared to all the hurt.

They say she did it laughing,
Laughing at the pointless years,
Because repeated all over her body,
Were the words: “Face Your Fears”

That's sad. The last stanza really got to me though. I seriously hope you feel better, and something miraculous will happen in your life. I remember when I felt kind of like you. Well, not exactly, but I felt a lot of hurt in my life, and whenever I just took some time to vent, I ended up feeling better. I hope you get past the darkness. Thanks and good luck!

    Hello
    Nice.. and deep.
Like a saying from a book:
No matter what anybody says, life isn't like a race. In a race, the gun sounds at the beginning. In life, it happens when you want it to.
