"Life is the only real counselor; wisdom unfiltered through personal experience does not become a part of the moral tissue" - Edith Wharton
For the moment passed by,
staring beyond the ebbing of
tall grasses, correspondances lurked-
trapped within itself
And sworls of color tided upon
the shores...
Leaving nothing behind but
remnants of sweet memories

it has been ages that I took the pleasure of reading your words. So glad I did now, because as usual "you do not disappoint". This sets up a certain mood that is maybe bittersweet-with a bit more sweet than bitter
My best wishes in this contest and much love
