I loved how it rhymed except for the last lines and that really made the last two lines hit home and end the poem with a *metaphorical* bang.

what was the option you chose, and put your s/c in your AN. This is why i didn't want prewrites... if you could check my contest again, i'm changing the rules a little. i hate to do this, but no one is really following my rules.
Anyway, i absolutely love the rhyming and flow ! :] The only lil quirk was the ending. Why does everything else rhyme, and then it's "come" and "you" ? I love it otherwise ! Thanks for entering and best of luck ! -
