I have a weakness for a hard-wired smile
or a death shroud or
an acid embrace in plain sight.

When our ashes fall on the shutters
and Hate's sibling is
the talk of the town,

The "heart shrouded in pain" line was a tad cliché, but that's it. The rest I enjoyed. I actually really liked the repetition of "wait" at the beginning, middle and the end. I think it helps add a mood to the piece. Your poetry is always so different. You follow your own drummer. Yes you do.
