Borley Rectory before the mysterious fire.
Borley Rectory was the most haunted house in England,
On the east coast near the borders of Suffolk almost no-mans land.
Harry Price a famous ghost hunter pursued the story,
The more he did the more the tale became gory!
Borely Rectory had many phantoms and ghosts,
The spooky rectory and land forced to be their hosts.
Ghostly whispers could be heard,
Was it the headless man? You scared?!
The strange lights that were often, to be seen,
The phantom coach outside, from a time once been.
The girl in white, the nun and the monk,
The writing on the walls no not just spunk!
The spectral figure with her head bent in sorrow,
What might come and haunt tomorrow?
Phantom footsteps were also heard,
Writing on the walls, many scared.
The apparition of the homes builder,
Seen by many would bewilder.
A would-be-bride was bricked up behind a wall,
Legends have it a former monastery, stories tall.
Poltergeists would make bottled fly,
Lights go on and off and moans would cry.
In June of 1929, Harry Price started to investigate,
Sent by the local newspapers to rumours negate.
The paranormal investigation,
Was at the time a real sensation.
Eventually the rectory was destroyed by mysterious fire,
An eerie cremation to the already dead, the funeral pyre.
But even then the hunting's continued to occur,
Not even the destruction could haunting defer.
This is all a very true story,
So eerie and spooky even gory!
The haunting of Borley Rectory goes on,
Plenty to investigate, will you be the one?
The one to go see, and be spooked to death,
By the hunting's so eerie, they will take your breath!

Hello.
I remember this place, I never visited it, but I read about it when I was a kid. Very strange, sheesh, that is really taking me back, good 2 weeks ago, ahaha. Nah longer than that. Your actual write, features some good rhymes and assonance, nothing read forced to me. Reads like a musical documentary almost, although I do have to say that I felt your rhythmic structure was compromised at times, due to wide range of syllable difference.
My regards.

Hello Kazytc.
Regarding my comments; as long as it is an honest and interesting comment; and it helps in some way for a person to improve then that is what my aim in comments is about. Even the improvement in some areas is subjective, so as long as it makes the writer think about their write, while remembering they must be true to themselves in what and how they write. Once again, many thanks, and I shall be back to check more of your work soon.
My regards.
