Do not ponder my origins,
for I am more eternal
than mankind's misery
wandering in deadly need.
Night enfolds my scars and screams,
shading the sorrow spilling
as I end mortal dream~
hoping contempt will concede.
Wretched predator impelled
by midnight curtains' pale glow
to quell shivers cold
with warmth that spills between teeth.
Do not dare to condemn me
with hallowed halls and lost grace,
and sacred light of day
for my race knows no mercy...
and our curse, we ne'er forsake.

Gracious! This is biting! a suitable anthem for the bloodthirsty. Well done!

Your amazing imagery lends to both the macabre and beautiful side of such subject matter. Beauty and power are both enveloped and invoked throughout such a dark write. You can really truly see what it is like to be an eternal being, that just simply is the way it is, without apology or regret. You did very well, and it deserves the attention it has gotten and then some.
