Dedicated to all who love to bite into rounds of cheese!
There is a total eclipse of the moon in the sky,
Fascinating to watch, I can say from this I spy!
Looks like someone has bitten a chunk, out of the moon,
They must have thought it was a round of cheese, the goon!
The strange phenomenon of the moon all a-chord,
Has someone sliced an arc off the moon with a sword?
The sky is going to be eerily dark very soon,
When the eclipse has completely covered the moon.
The orange tinge around its circumference glows,
Just one of the heaven's spectacular shows.
Up there in the night sky sits the wistful cheese,
Doing its spectacular disappearing act if you please!
The gradual changing arcs of the eclipsing moon,
Mesmeric and enchanting this hot air balloon.
Up there in the galaxy millions of miles away,
The crowing glory of an otherwise ordinary day.
Uranus eclipsed the moon tonight,
We watched this to our sheer delight.

Prompt 2 - Moolight selected.
March 3rd 2007 was a total eclipse of the moon by Uranus, causing thee most spectacular orange colouration of the moon in the spectacular progression of this event, last seen January 2001. The photos you see here were taken by a friend of mine with his 300mm lense camera as the event occured.
