My sweet innocence, please reach for my outstretched hand!
God has thrown a cruel card our way, but we shall thrive.
He was our dearest companion, but now he is our dearest tormentor.
But God must have a purpous for such a twisted play, musn't he?
He has to be teaching us, punishing us for our sinful ways.
My belief in you, oh loving Lord, is falling shorter, scarcely hanging by a thread.
The thread is tearing and my loving Lord, you cannot see my tattered face.
The tormentor has stripped us of all our breath, all our hopes.
His raw abhorrence had no thought of my limp body under his massive weight.
God, if you are there, please listen to my prayer.
I have no more aspiration in this life, let me fall into slumber, and never again face this world.
Let me fall and never fly as your angel, for I shall not work for one who does not exist.
Author notes
I can't see hope in life anymore, no God, no trust. My only note is...is He there?

Is God there?

WOW
This is amazingly intense and deeply emotional from such a young soul. It must be a heavy burden to carry such emotions around all the time...I love the last line...I shall not work for one who does not exist. Fantastic.~mandie~ -
I have no idea if he is real. I hope so with every fiber of my being but if he is there he seems to have abondoned me.

Whoa.
Not at all what I was expecting.
I can see that you are hopeless, and even considering death or suicide? If you need to talk, I am here. Believe me, I've been there (not too long ago, either)... and I'm certain I'll be down that low again.
I, too, question God's existence. So far, we have much in common!
Thanks for entering and good luck.
I hope you feel better soon. Please message me before you do anything drastic.
