My friend I wish I could cheer you up,
world seems to be crashing in on you.
Many breaking the ten commandments,
so many not following the golden rule.
God is patiently watching and waiting,
writing in the great book everyday.
Keeping track of what we are doing,
while waiting for our judgement day.
When that day finally arrives for us,
we will be made to pay for our sins.
Are you going to the promised land,
where eternity and happiness begins?
Or will you face the wrath of God,
for the sins that occur in your life?
Being selfish and cruel to fellow man,
causing others such misery and strife.
An eternity in hell is what awaits,
if repentance by you is never found.
Will it be Paradise for you in Heaven,
or going to Hell beneath the ground?
I look for the good in my fellow man,
pray they come to know Jesus Christ.
Never too late for sins to be forgiven,
that's why He died and was sacrificed.

AWESOME write about our AWESOME God! Excellent! You always do such a nice job with your poems Sandy! I would just make one SLIGHT correction to this: add the word "was" just before "sacrificed" in the last line. I think you'll find that works better!

What a lovely work. God is a loving and forgiving one as hearts take flight to the wonders promised as blessing of faith. The rhyme complements the poem so well with the great ending of Jesus sacrifice for our sins.
