Missing

I always felt half,
incomplete,
and ungained,
frustration was on bay,
but I let it stay,
waiting for that missing,
I anlaysed,
was a companion,
that filled the soul,
met the deficiencies on teh spot,
and slowed down the ultimate rot,
somebody who thinks alike,
and is at the same frequency,
somebody who sees it when you do emergency,
someone so near and yet far,
somebody who takes little time,
to arrive that far,
I am still in search,
here and there,
but I am now parched.

Author notes

here and there,
but I am now parched.

this soulmate thing derails me...nonetheless...I could only wish it could exist albeit my cynicism

yeah somehow we could wish for it...keep our fingers crossed

I hope someday it will quench the thirst on your search...you'll never know...you just realized it

    felt this one...

A deep poem that seaks of your frustration at not finding ( the) one.Sometimes you can search too hard, only to find that it was there all along.I wish you well, Ros

Your page says that you are in the U.S. Is english your native language? I only ask because of some of your typos and your sentence structure is a bit awkward in places. I like the idea behind your poem. I think most everyone wants to find that person--that soul mate--in whom we feel we were born for. I wish you luck in the desert in which you dwell. May you find that drink for which you search.

    I really liked this poem.
You did have a couple of errors, however:
"anlaysed" should be "analyzed", or if British, "analysed"
    "on teh spot" - "the"

Otherwise, this was very well done. Thanks for entering and good luck!
