Humans and animals fall dead from just a glimpse. From this riders pale grey horse and hollowed black eyes. Eyes that when stared into it’s like looking back in time.
A time when the earth was covered in ice allowing no light inside. Wielding a rusty sharp scythe covered in the blood of both the people who were innocent and those who deserved to die. Even the innocent cries won’t change the mind.
Of the being who dons the black shroud and has no reason to hide. Who is more then ready to take their lives. And whether sinner or saint he will not abide
The fourth and final rider, before it all comes to an end. Before the human race caves in on itself and it all begins again.
Next time with the eye on a better and righteous plan. A plan that may keep the apocalypse from happening once again.

This is a really good piece. I do wonder if breaking this up into small stanzas might help the flow of the poem, but I enjoyed this, well done. Best to you

Well this world is a violent dreary place. No matter how many G rated movies Disney produces.

Wow
I like how you metered them out into four pieces instead of one long drawn out one. It leaves one something to look forward too. You have talent keep writing and I shall keep reading.~mandie~ -
Very good. I don't know the details of Byron's poem and would have to research it to appreciate it fully I think, but I see the correlation, not only in style but in the theme of a dark rider of the apocalypse which I also see is sort of a recurring one in your work.
