When I'm With You

I was only with you
For a small space in life.
I'm not sure if it was the whole year,
Or just the week.

We said the three special words,
And ended the whole thing a week later.
But we liked eachother for over a year.
We only spoke a few times.

Most of the time,
I was lost in your wonderful smile
That you used to make my heart skip
And made my knees shake with joy.

I fantasized about hugging you
And kissing you sweetly.
Those never happened,
Not in real life anyway.

I fell in love with your smile.
Your looks made my stomach jump,
While your personality,
Well it just took my breath away.

We spent only a few minutes together,
But those minutes were precious.
We smiled and talked a bit.
Our laughter cut throught the air.

When I was with you,
I was happy for a moment.
When I was away from you,
I missed you and wished you were by my side.

The things I feel with you
Are nothing I can explain.
But when I'm with you now,
I'm filled with a love for you.
