Your eyes are so intense
Your laugh intoxicating
Its as if our souls are one
Yet we are as seperate as the sun and the moon
Fate is so cruel
To me and to you

I love you more than anyone can
Without expecting it in return
How could I as I am?
Your heart may belong to another
But to you I freely give mine

All my life I would give away
To spend one night alone in your arms
But you dont love me
Not like I love you
And alone I shall remain
Its my cross to bear

My final request
Is that you never forget me
G-d knows I shall never let you fade from me
And think of me fondly when you smell rose petals on the summer breeze
Or in the reflection of light on the waters face
