Innocent victims......................




On the eleventh of September,
Two thousand and one.
An unwelcome darkness,
Surrounded the sun.

An act of destruction,
Hi-jacking of planes.
Bodies and buildings,
Encompassed by flames.

The New York twin towers,
That silhouetted the sky.
Two passenger aircraft,
Into them they did fly.

Thousands were wounded,
And thousands lay dead.
People seen leaping,
From flames overhead.

I will never forget,
The scenes of that day.
Those innocent lives,
That were taken away.

I wait for the moment,
That this terror will cease.
And to those innocent victims,
May the Lord give you peace.
