Incantations on the Cusp of Mourning

Typhoid fever of salmonella born,
boistrously breeches existential morn!
Piedmontese phantasmagoria erupts
from titanic chalices, Machiavelian cups;
sacrificial phlebotomy (a foreboding portent)
scatter the seeds of the wanderer's lament;
while brooding high in the canopy strata,
lofty arboreal phalangers gigantica!
Plague and incantations mixing in the trees,
exhaling pure vitality, imbibing ill disease!

Author notes

Okay, the words are in this, but no elephant. Wasn't sure if I had to include the elephant or not...no clear to me. Anyway, I think this poem does a lot with the selected words, and I hope you enjoy it!

      Well, don't bow down to false gods! But I appreciate your compliment! I worked fairly hard with the dictionary on that one, and hoped to bring something unique and not so expected.
