Our time is like that flickering star
in that far off galaxy, already dead
but continues to pulse
as if the light were true
But when the last grain finally falls
into the bottom of our life timer
it just all ends, no parade, no glory
we live-on through memories left behind
Until that inevitable moment
when all the pain and anguish are gone
we often then realize, in that instance
our own faults, our own mistakes
but we also fail to see life belonged to us
not to the misguided who blocked our path
So say goodbye, because its easy
because its what some want to hear
and let your tear ducts fill with rain
but know that your gesture is neither grand
nor is it worthy of the pain catching the drops
Adiós : Goodbye
A Dios vos encomiendo : I commend you to God.
