searching your lips as you drew me closer,
shivers of wanting from the touch of your hands;
I remember the feelings...
we used to linger beneath each tree as
you walked me home at night; your
tender kisses left me dizzy
pirouetting through magenta clouds as
turquoise whispers painted
the colours of your smile
amber flecked eyes gazed back and
I could feel your promises as they
wrapped themselves around me
but time passes swiftly;
tinted incantations swirl and fade
into the nothingness of tomorrow

I just loved reading this mum, even though it hard a sad ending ..just so well written
just wonderful imagery...
pirouetting through magenta clouds as
turquoise whispers painted
the colours of your smile
amber flecked eyes gazed back
A well penned piece, a great inspiration from the picture, thanks Mum and good luck

i agree with kiwi, the ending is sad
but your words are so beautifully penned

-
Aww.. that's such a sad ending.. yet so true to life often! This is beautiful! All those memories of young love and how it used to be! And a loneliness at the end there...
You always write so beautifully hun!

*sigh* I know it's sad but it was the only place the picture took me. I remember the feelings when you first meet a boy and think he's special and all those little tingly moments but it never lasts. I guess it's a part of growing up that we go through.
Thank you for your wonderful comment honey, it was very much appreciated, believe me
Love Margaret
