For the young and young at heart,
for time has aged us all.
Our parents play their part,
Just to brace us for the fall.
From our first set of training wheels,
To the broken hearts our parents fixed.
For the all time we spent at meals,
and the feelings that we mixed.
I know now that this is true,
what is done, is done.
To my dear parents, I love you.
I'm glad we had our fun.
Author notes
