Child's play time,
They never dream of money
Their heart so pure, to help, to save

Dream of being a doctor to save lives
Dream of fire fighter, dream of being a hero
The Child's smile as they dream, yet do we forget our days of dreams

Have we forgotten the purity of hope?
Have we lost the wings upon the dreams that we send upward?
Can you feel the dream in your soul, still beating quietly, waiting to be granted and so much more

The song of your very soul,
The dream of your destiny and all the dreams you have
The hope to make them shine, make them seen to all that gaze upon you my friend!

I can feel my dreams, they are alive!
Each and every dream is still beating, all of them
Till they come or till I am no more, every dream that is held

Only one year left till its time
Time to walk, in a gown of blue, upon a stage
Taking a sheet of paper in my hand, to hold my future, the fruit of all hope

Earning my key, the key to possibility
Yet oh so much, wearing a grin, look at me when its time
Watching your boy, upon the stage, taking his future, which he earned for you, and smile

Calling out that and every night
Lookie world, one of us has done it,
To so many, high school is no big deal, yet it is my key
