I woke heavy headed,
tried to fill the space within
the taste of your mouth,
the whispery sounds
that came from it.
By Wednesday it was already
broken with static.

I have to say, it reads kind of disjointed and I am wanting to fill in some gaps, but perhaps that was the effect you were going for.
