They met before she knew what love was for
Their passion blazed and then it went away
You can't restore that first and best amour
Another day there'll be new games to play
She loves life more now that she knows the score!

A five line "Ballad" Internally rhymed as the best ballads should be but in pentameter I'm afraid.

    I can live with pentameter. This is great - it tells a story from beginning to end. It really is a tiny ballad. Thanks! celtic queen
