One can not know the true joy I feel without piercing all the pains in my heart.
Truly, it is there. You must simply look deep enough
Buried is much strife.
Buried is much drama.
Keep digging; It is there.
How has it come to pass that you've gone so far?
You must truly wish for that joy.
The strife passes you so numbly.
The drama avoids your thoughts.
Keep digging; It is there.
Have I pulled you further into such a black encrusted heart?
Truly, you have brought with you so much virtue
You plant seeds of faith
You've been taken by the kindness.
Keep digging; It is there.
Have you not found it yet, that place in my heart?
For truly you must be exhausted
My tender strifes have gone through you.
My experiences you've taken.
Keep digging; It is there.
Or perhaps you've discovered the truth in my aching heart?
For truly, you've tried until your last breath.
What wondrous faith.
What faithful love.
...And there you are.
Let me sing you a lullaby, my beautiful heart.
To let you sleep, through all your strifes
For now you show true virtues
Now you show true peace.
...And others will dig, for the joy that is there.
Author notes
...This isn't my usual prose; But, by demand, I give you Sucker.

I think this is an amazing poem. I love the way it's laid out, about how your tone changes in the final stages of the poem, and the repetition disappears along with it, sort of symbolising your hope.
